R/DA provided interior alterations to approximately 2,575sf of space within an existing building owned by NCSU. With a donation by a generous benefactor, this space was transformed into (3) small test kitchens and a large kitchen with observation area for the Agricultural and Human Sciences Department. These state-of-the-art kitchens provide opportunities for testing of safe food preparation and preservation; research to investigate questions on labeling, food safety and healthy cooking; and developing healthy recipes for Extension agents to share with the public.
